The aurora borealis dances over Arrow Lake, taken near Castlegar, BC.
I spent a good amount of time during the summer of 2021 trying to capture one specific image of this lake view. After striking out with smoke, wind changes, and storms, the conditions never managed to line up- that particular image never came to be.
With a promising aurora forecast, I tried my luck for something different. This image is the result of that, and one brief but beautiful display of northern lights.
